Parking Options for South Shore Triathlon
- Hayes Drive between Richardson and Cornell Drive
- Park District parking on Hayes drive and Cornell-meter parking that will need to be paid
- Richardson drive between Marquette and Hayes drive
- Along Stony Island north of 63rd.
- Hyde Park High School parking lot—6220 S. Stony Island—will be open from 6am-2pm
- Jackson Harbor/59th Street parking lot-meter parking that will need to be paid
Packet Pickup
Running Away Multisport, Deerfield (800 Waukegan Rd, Deerfield 60015) on Saturday – July 16, 10:00 am to 5:30pm.
Running Away Multisport, Chicago (1634 North Ave, Chicago 60622) on Friday – July 22. 10:00 am to 7:00 pm
Please note: There will be no race day registration or packet pickup. All participants must pick up their packet before race day.
Sprint Distances
750 Meter Swim – 18K Bike - 5K Run
Super Sprint Distances
400 Meter Swim - 10K Bike - 2.5K Run
Duathlon Distances
5K Run – 18K Bike - 5K Run
Participation Divisions
Age Groups: 16-19 years, 5 year age groups through 70+.
Athena: Female participants over 150 lbs.
Clydesdale: Male participants over 200 lbs.
Kid’s Race Distances
Ages 7-10
Swim:100 Meters (108 Yards)
Bike: 4K (2.48 Miles)
Run: 1K (.62 Miles)
Ages 11 – 14
Swim: 200 Meters (217 Yards)
Bike: 8K (4.96 Miles)
Run: 2K (1.24 Miles)
